This unique gathering invites a select amount of people to strengthen the circle of allies, impact investors, and systems changers to listen deeply, engage in dialogue, and seed long-term partnerships for acute funding needs in the Amazon and beyond. To integrate and regenerate and to deepen relations for and with those who are committing to take active part in the Sacred Streams coalition. It's an intimate informal day with the representatives from Indigenous Amazonas including the Yepâ Mahsâ (Tukano), Borari and Huni Kuin.
During their journey the Indigenous delegation coming from the Amazon will visit several countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium. From May 26th the delegates are part of the Katapult Future Fest (KFF). It's a moment to convey the message around shaping the future together towards a regenerative economy, transcending capitalism.
Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st are intended as rest days, which is why we are hosting a post-event retreat to integrate and strengthen the relations with the coalition partners and all involved.
We take this time to collectively integrate the energy and insights from Katapult Future Fest. Exploring how ancestral wisdom can reshape the future of capital.
On Saturday, May 30th, we take a boat to an island on the Vinkeveense Plassen, where we will spend the day and evening. There is a tipi available and we will make a fire, cook together and we can take a swim or explore the waters in a canoe. After dinner there's a boat taking you back to the shore, or to stay for the night on another island. There are a few cabins available and we can set up tents/hammocks.
All facilities are basic, bringing us back to our essence, in a natural environment. It's a time for song, prayer and remembrance.

We cook together and together take care of our needs. This initiative is self-funded, which means all who participate contribute to the cost we need to cover, which is roughly €2000 and comprises of:
~ €800 rental of the islands in the Vinkeveense Plassen,
~ €30 overnight stay (per person plus (€ 3,70 pp tourist tax)
~ €30 boat transfers
~ €50 fire wood
~ €90 cleaning fee (per island, x3 if we are 25 people)
Excluding catering 🥗 the idea is that we all bring food to share for the various meals (lunch, dinner and breakfast plus snacks and drinks) ~ so keep this in mind when the KFF week begins!
Together, we step beyond traditional frameworks and open a space to co-create a vision of regenerative investment grounded in equity, territory, and unity.
